Description
Many books, documentaries and films have already been made about how the masses are being kept afraid to benefit those in power (mat we also recommend the book 'The state of fear').
Where the internet and television (and still in large parts of this world: radio) serve to inform people they also help to spread mass-hysteria and all sorts of unlikely fears. On the other hand, there are many very real threats that keep being opposed by those who don't believe in the evidence or simply find the alternative 'inconvenient'.
So, what do we fear? 'Things to be afraid of' challenges you to think about it, about your own fears and those of others.
