About the Vaiku
It's interesting to experiment with a visual form.
In traditional poetry a strict set of rules was used by poets to build their works. This way everybody gets a similar work which is comparable to others and an individual expression at the same time.
Vaiku means Visual Haiku
Haiku is a well known way of poetry that originates in Japan written in three sentences with 5-7-5 syllables.
A vaiku works the same way but in 5/7/5 images (still or photo).
Every single image can take between 1/24 of a sec. and 5 sec.
so basically the scheme is:
1_2_3_4_5/
1_2_3_4_5_6_7/
1_2_3_4_5/
/=black image
so, every film will take between 1 and 100 sec.
