Cultblender: CultBlender United

Don't worry, we are not starting a football club (not yet anyway). The CultBlender United project intends to unite the CultBlender participants all around the world in one artpiece.

An artwork will be made that is then sent around the world to the various CultBlender artists. The new artist will take a picture of the artwork and then start working on it him- or herself. When the new artist is done another picture is taken and the artwork is sent off to the new artist. All the pictures of the artwork in various stages will be uploaded to the CultBlender website so visitors can follow it's progress.

We could, obviously, just do some sort of project like this, by making use of internet. But a digitalized is not 'really' there. It would be a virtual project, with virtual art. It is our believe that by having an actual physical work of art that's seen all those different parts of the world, that has been touched by all those different artist that put their energy into it, we get something that is truly valuable. It would make it a great integration of online and offline art.
